And how much water your plants will receive. The drippers slowly saturate the soil around each plant. Less water is wasted compared to a watering can. Where the water can pass through the pot. Phormiums ∙ look great in contemporary or tropical garden design. Plant in groups for maximum effect. Don’t overwater. As they can rot. Avoid the red varieties. They tend to lose their colour over time. Green variegated phormiums look great. Plant with agapanthus. Or crocosmia.
Crocosmia is ∙ great for enclosed raised beds. As they will spread over time. Red varieties such as lucifer look great in a contemporary garden design. They require very little care. They can be lifted and divided. Every few years or so. To gain extra plants. Add feed and compost!
